Courtney Faraday is a Limited Licensed Counselor and obtained
her Master of Arts in counseling degree from Siena Heights
University. Courtney enjoys working with a variety of clients
who are working through depression, grief/loss, family/marriage
issues, trauma, self-esteem and anxiety. She utilizes a variety
of techniques including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, Self -Talk, RLT and Mindfulness
in order to help her clients achieve true healing and wholeness.
One of her biggest passions is helping couples build a stronger
healthier marriage. Courtney works to build trust with each
client and believes that this is done through consistency.
Courtney entered the counseling profession after founding a non-profit for women and children in crisis and has continued to run and maintain this for the last 12 years. It was her involvement with homeless girls, inner city kids and human trafficking victims that motivated her to pursue a counseling profession. She, along with her husband and family are also diligently involved in their community through outreaches, local churches, coaching city sports for children and neighboring well. Courtney is “for” life and uses her skills to promote that source of life with all that she has.
Courtney has been married since 2002 and has two children. Courtney enjoys, running, hiking, and anything that involves her being with her family.
